Yearning

The meaning of the word, "yearning", is to have an intense longing for something - seemingly unattainable. It is this intense longing that I have talked about in The Bridegroom and I. It starts with God's intense longing for us. You see, that is why Jesus came - God had to take on human flesh and make a way for us to come back to Him. So, it starts with His intense longing for us.
And in my book, it is this same "intense longing" that turned my life around, and I found that same "intense longing" answered in my heart. In this book, the results of this "intense longing", are that I became a changed person. I found the ugliness that I saw in myself, and believed about myself, was transformed by His love. And I began to take on the likeness of the King.
You see, that's what He wants for each one of us. Let the intense longing in your heart, that often you don't understand - just a need that's "there" - never met until now. Find that need met in Jesus.
